Life has been hectic and busy this term.
I’m definitely ready for a break, but this upcoming week is going to be ridiculously busy. I have 4 important exams to focus on this week, with a primary presentation due next Tuesday. My free time has most often been consumed with preparatory work and studying. Fortunately enough for me, in order to keep my sanity, I’ve occupied some of my free time with time at the gym, limited amounts of gaming, and drawing.
Netflix has also been a Godsend to me, as it’s allowed me a plethora of different tv shows and movies to watch before and after classes, and during my available free time. Speaking of which, during Thanksgiving, Kara and Jordan came down from Seattle and assisted me with an art project I felt that I failed miserably at. Fortunately for me, Kara has an artistic side that helped me see the concepts I failed to see when I initially started my clay-sculpting project. As a side-note, I have approximately 5 blank canvases that need to be drawn and painted on. I have a few ideas, but not enough things that truly inspire me to draw.
I photographed the Malik wedding, yesterday, as well. I really wish I had more time to photograph. My hobbies are always a great way to find a sense of peace and serenity. I even have a handful of books that I still need to read, as well. I also have a handful of games that I still have to play/finish playing. To be honest, I have a huge list of tasks to accomplish, including a paint job for my room.
Thankfully, I’ve made most of my Christmas purchases already, so I don’t have to worry about that too much regarding that. Although I can continue to blab about a plethora of other things going on, but there’s not enough time. I’m slowly, but surely attaining some of the goals I’ve set out for myself since the day I left the Marine Corps and am excited to see them come to fruition.
I’m greatly looking forward to winter break, so that I might be able to catch up on a few things. Oh well… time to focus on this week’s exams.
