I’ve decided to take a short break from posting onto Twitter, today and for the foreseeable future. Honestly, it’s been an amazing platform over the years, as I’ve felt more than comfortable expressing myself freely about anything from my daily life, to work, to more intimate topics such as my personal/dating life. Oddly enough, over the past few years, I managed to acquire a handful of fellow foreigners living in Japan as followers, but I’ve slowly found myself caring about their impressions of me, forcing me to censor and/or limit some of the things that I was posting; which in-turn made me lose some of the appeal and level of anonymity that I once had on the platform. Now, I think I’m going to try to get back into blogging during this intermission.
