As the number of days I have left continue to dwindle down, I’ve taken it upon myself to begin posting some ads on craigslist, prior to the garage sale I’ll be having next weekend. I even had assistance from my mom and little brother, who helped me sort and pack up some of the boxes that I’ve been so reluctant to do. Thankfully, my living room is (slowly but surely) beginning to look emptier, cleaner and much more organized.
Overall I’ve gotten a few nibbles on some of the stuff I’m selling, but nothing major yet. I think that’s one thing that I detest the most about craigslist; People will contact you and inquire about items and tell you that they’re willing to buy it and pick it up, but then they never show up. It’s disheartening and quite frustrating to say the least. I know that I wouldn’t do that sort of thing to someone else, so it’s somewhat ridiculous when I’m the recipient of this kind of crude behavior.
Anyway, to friends and family that are in the local area, feel free to check out the craigslist ads I have up at the moment. If I can’t sell them for their advertised price(s) on craigslist right now, I’ll just mark them down even more for the garage sale (July 11th-13th). If I personally know you, I’d be much more willing to come down to a reasonable price for you, as well.
