“Study hard what interests you the most in the most undisciplined, irreverent and original manner possible.”
― Richard P. Feynman
So I managed to finish this quilt last night, and it took me a lot less time to sew together than I had initially anticipated it to. I was initially going to make a large full-sized quilt, but after picking up some of the fabric, I quickly realized that making quilts doesn’t come cheap. After that, I decided to make a unisex children’s quilt instead. I was initially aiming for the color green, when I found these various blends of colors that all seemed to work together. If you, or anyone you know is interested in this quilt I’ve added it to my Store (which I recently created just for sh’ts and giggles until I get a solid online account for my entrepreneurial future). I hope you all enjoy.
Also, a big thank you to Robin for lending me all of her sewing materials and sewing machine, as well as Taran and his grandmother for teaching me some of the necessary basics several weeks ago. I’m hoping that this can eventually lead me to design some pretty wicked and awesome t-shirts later down the road. But of course, I’ll just take things one step at a time for now.
