I have to say that today was by-far, one of the best family-oriented days I’ve had in a long time. It’s really difficult to explain in detail what was so phenomenal about today, but a tell-tale-sign of how great it was is represented by how quickly the day flew by. My sister Kara drove into town from Seattle last night, so we got to spend time with her – as well as my sister Kessa and brother-in-law, Ryan (along with his friend, Chris).

I believe the greatest part of today was going outside and playing football. I kind of wish we had more holidays that allowed us to spend more time together, but when we do hang out together it’s pretty memorable. I believe the outstanding weather we had today helped make the day, as well. Unfortunately, the day eventually had to come to an end.

I start classes back up again tomorrow and have updated my online calendar to reflect the new term. I purchased my books off of Amazon not too long ago, and it cost me less than $100!! I’ve also assessed my schedule and I have room to go to the gym everyday this term. My plan is to go every morning at 5am, and I’ll still have plenty of time to shower, change and study before leaving for classes (especially on Mondays!)

Anyway, that means that I need to get to bed soon so that I can get enough rest before tomorrow. I hope today was just as great for you as it was for me. Take it easy!
